CESAR VERGARA SABBAGH

Businessman and producer from Veracruz. His first feature film Tiempo Real (2003), has been internationally awarded and recognized as the first film made in a single shot without cuts in Latin America. 

 

In 2005 he founded the production company Horizon Entertainment, which made a strategic alliance in Latin America with the American sales company Shoreline Entertainment and production company Mojo global Arts. The same year, he co-produced the Mexican-Israeli-American film The Fifth Patient, starring Peter Bogdanovich, Nick Chinlund, Marley Shelton and Issac de Bankolé among others.

 

In 2006 he co-produced the Bolivian production Say Good Morning to Dad about the death of Che Guevara and in 2007 the American film Killing Zelda Sparks. In 2008 he produced the documentary Apoliniatzi y la Revolución, winner of multiple awards including best indigenous documentary at the Morelia Film Festival.
